Our #8120 Fluorescent Lamp comes equipped with a 20" (508mm) lamp and a flexible yet durable 8 foot (2.4m) cord with a 4 pin male style plug that connects to the control unit. The cord is soldered to the lamp and solidly reinforced at the connection to deter fraying.

The entire lamp tube is covered with our exclusive Safety Sleeve - a clear, tough, plastic sleeve that is permanently fitted to the lamp providing excellent protection against breakage as well as safety against flying glass should the lamp break.
Can be used for alto and tenor saxophones, alto and bass clarinets, flute, and bassoon. It is especially nice for saxophone work because without having to move the lamp it will completely light up the main body section (low Eb to high F) of an alto, and on a tenor both the lower and upper stacks.
The 20" lamp also works quite well as a heat source for seating flute pads. After pads are clamped down, attach the foot joint to the main body and insert the lamp. It quickly provides the proper amount of heat directly to all the pads.
